SENSITIVITY OF FOTOCAP BARRIERS.-
It can be calculated the sensitivity of the barriers FOTOCAP using the respective formulas are described below.
In these formulas we consider the size of the animal to photograph as the shadow projected on a white surface if it was focused with a distant light, or what would be the same if we could freeze the animal at the time desired, on a support paper and draw its outline.
In any of the cases, the shade or the drawing, they constitute what we will be call an spread of the animal to coming out in photographs.
When it comes to photographically capture a moving animal, consider that its size will have a path with respect to beam infrared barrier, as an example we consider the case of capturing a photo of a goshawk who plans to ground level over 5 meters before falling on a field mouse, well, cutting path is the distance in millimeters from head to tail end of the goshawk as long as it passes through the barrier cutting across the beam.
